MONUMENT SCULPTURE PARK AT BIG RED:The Town of Monument, School District 38 and Tri-Lakes Views are collaborating to build a Sculpture Park on the empty fields between Big Red (the District 38 Administration Building) and 2nd Street in historic Monument. With the help of almost 300 volunteers, the Town has installed a sprinkler system and seeded the park areas with grass. The School District is constructing pedestals on which Tri-Lakes Views will install sculptures. The participants envision adding a new pedestal each year expanding the Sculpture Park on to both grassy fields and creating a scenic and welcoming place for people to visit.
